  8. intelligent RJE workstation connected to an IBM mainframe or front-end
  9. processor using standard IBM SNA communications protocol

  11. Communications to and from the host are managed by a Rabbit's Open Advantage
  12. SNA Gateway, which supports high-speed SDLC, QLLC/X.25, and 802.2/Token Ring

  15. Open Advantage RJE-SNA emulates IBM's Remote Job Entry 3770 workstation. By
  16. taking advantage of the host communications network, Open Advantage RJE-SNA
  17. provides all standard and operational features of the most complete IBM
  18. configuration, plus additional features that simplify the user interface and
  19. improve machine utilization. It has all standard RJE features including
  20. compression/decompression, transparent/nontransparent transmission, data
  21. decompaction, point-point/multipoint communications, keylock, unattended mode
  22. of operation, error posting, and status information. Device routing allows
  23. output to be directed to a physical printer, a file, or a spooler. A
  24. menu-driven interface provides system status information, permits simplified
  25. device management, and includes comprehensive queue-management facilities that
  26. allow submission, monitoring, manipulation, and delayed submission of jobs.
  27. Extensive National Language Support (NLS) is included. Help screens are
  28. available throughout.
